As followers of Jesus we are called to love and serve others. This is a daily call that involves us being open to the needs that are immediately around us. This involves stepping in to serve people during times of crisis.
We want to invite you to consider taking a couple of steps in response to those impacted by Hurricane Ian:
Ask God to move in the lives of those impacted by Hurricane Ian. Pray for God’s love and power to be on full display even in the midst of pain and difficulty. Pray that God would raise up people to serve and love those in need. Be open to hearing from God and responding to His voice (God, what are you saying to me? What am I going to do about it?).
Take a step to tangibly meet the needs of others. Consider giving a financial gift to help during the crisis. Consider actively stepping in and serving in the coming days or months.
